The exhaust valve actuator motor for the BMW M3 G80 controls the variable exhaust valve that switches between quiet and Sport/Track exhaust modes. A failed motor causes the exhaust to be permanently open (loud) or permanently closed. This OEM motor is a direct plug-and-play replacement.

4. Locate exhaust valve on rear silencer

6. Disconnect 2-pin motor connector

8. Remove 2 mounting screws

10. Note valve position before removing old motor

12. Install new motor in same orientation

14. Reconnect connector
15. 8
16. Test Sport exhaust via iDrive M menu.
