The AMG Performance exhaust valve assembly for the AMG GT C190 includes the butterfly valve and electric actuator motor that controls the AMG sport exhaust system. The active exhaust can switch between Quiet and Sport modes. A seized valve causes permanently loud operation or the loss of Sport exhaust.

2. Raise vehicle on hoist

4. Allow exhaust to cool

6. Locate valve assembly on rear silencer bypass tube

8. Disconnect 2-pin motor connector
9. 5
10. Remove 4 mounting bolts
11. 6
12. Remove old valve assembly
13. 7
14. Install new assembly
15. 8
16. Reconnect connector
17. 9
18. Test via AMG DRIVE UNIT Sport exhaust button.
