The 48V EQ Boost integrated starter-generator drive belt for the Mercedes A-Class W177 A250e connects the BSG (Belt Starter-Generator) to the engine crankshaft. The belt drives both the ISG for mild hybrid regeneration and engine starting. A slipping or cracked belt causes loss of hybrid function and EQ Boost warning.

- Use breaker bar to release automatic tensioner

- Slip old belt off pulleys

- Route new belt following diagram on engine cover

- Release tensioner onto belt

- Verify belt sits centrally on all pulleys

- Start engine and check for noise.
