The rear air spring for the BMW X7 G07 is a larger-diameter unit compared to the X5, designed to handle the additional weight of the third row seating and maximum 7-passenger loading. A failed spring causes the X7 to sag at the rear, particularly when the third row is occupied.

2. Use BMW ISTA to set workshop mode and deflate suspension

8. Locate upper air spring mounting and disconnect air line

10. In wheel arch: remove lower spring mounting bolt

12. Remove spring
