The M Performance carbon fibre boot lid for the BMW M4 G82 Coupe saves 4.2kg over the standard steel unit while providing the aggressive visual aesthetic of the CSL model. 4. Support lid with assistant or prop

6. Disconnect boot lid struts at lower mount

8. Disconnect boot release connector if electronic

10. Remove hinge bolts (4 total)

12. Remove old lid

14. Transfer strut mounting brackets to new lid

16. Bolt new lid onto hinges

18. Adjust hinges for flush alignment

20. Reconnect boot release.
